Acara yang bertempat di lapangan depan gedung pedagang kaki lima (PKL) ini diramaikan oleh ratusan massa yang didominasi ibu-ibu.
Selaku tuan rumah, Ketua Koordinator Daerah (Korda) Balad Jokowi Garut, Hedi mengatakan, kegaitaan ini digelar dalam rangka memeriahkan pesta demokrasi sekaligus ajang silaturahmi antar masyarakat Garut. Selain itu, acara ini juga sebagai bentuk dukungan untuk Calon Presiden (Capres) nomor urut 01.

“Acara ini bertujuan untuk menyemarakan pesta demokrasi, ajang silaturahmi antar warga dan tidak lupa acara ini sebagai bentuk dukungan terhadap Pak Jokowi," ujarnya.
Kemudian dalam kesempatan yang sama Ketua Koordinator Pusat Balad Jokowi, Muchlas Rowie mengatakan, dengan berkumpulnya masyarakat dan para relawan di acara tersebut itu untuk menambah kesolidan masyarakat dalam memenangkan Capres nomor urut 01.
"Dengan kegiatan seperti ini, semoga kita semakin solid dan yakin untuk kemenangan Pak Jokowi di 17 April yang akan datang," ucap Muchlas.
Muchlas menambahkan, "Jangan lupa diajak juga teman sekasur, teman sedapur, teman sesumur dan teman selembur untuk datang ke tempat pemungutan suara (TPS) dan Pilih calon Presiden yang pakai baju putih (Jokowi-Amin)."
