Pada hari Senin itu, Bach dijadwalkan bertemu dengan perdana menteri baru Jepang Yoshihide Suga dan gubernur Tokyo Yuriko Koike.
Masalah utama yang ingin didiskusikan Bach dengan penyelenggara selama kunjungannya itu adalah tentang penonton yang akan diizinkan masuk ke tempat pertandingan.
